Senior Systems Engineer - Low Voltage

We are addressing the challenges of electric vehicles through technology that sets the standards for software-defined vehicles, including operating systems, zonal controllers, and cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and decomposition of the low voltage system through cross-functional collaboration
• Drive the implementation of low voltage power systems from ideation to public release
• Support vehicle architecture development through trade studies and proof of concept
• Develop and document requirements from feature level down to functional and component levels
• Develop test requirements for 12V battery and low voltage system characterization
• Support integration activities including board bring up, HIL testing, and validation testing
• Coordinate system delivery and timing to ensure achievement of development milestones
• Develop a comprehensive DVP&R for validation tests at SIL, HIL, Component, and Vehicle levels

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with requirement management processes for safety critical systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Development and integration experience with embedded systems
• Experience with controls validation efforts (SIL/HIL/Component/Vehicle)
• Experience with LV Systems and LV batteries
• Knowledge of HV vehicle systems
