Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, interface management, and verification and validation.
• Serve as a customer-facing technical point of contact and lead for technical discussions and issue resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure system architecture aligns with project requirements.
• Manage integration seams with external stakeholders, including the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Provide technical engineering support for the development of operations centers, space vehicles, and payloads.
• Analyze system requirements to define and verify the technical baseline.
• Author, review, and coordinate technical documentation to aid Government decision-making.
• Participate in program and technical reviews such as PDRs and CDRs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering.
• Master's degree or equivalent years of related experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous DoD, Air Force, or Space Force systems engineering experience.
• Experience supporting Program Management Offices (PMOs) in the acquisition of complex systems.
• Experience with Space Systems Command (SSC).
