Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end kill chain analysis for Space Control programs by establishing requirements, interfaces, and system integration plans
• Interface with customers to provide mission architecture system capability and requirements to achieve desired mission effects
• Conduct and develop products in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups regarding the design, production, and integration of Space Control systems
• Develop and maintain mission architecture interface requirements and system-of-systems verification plans
• Build understanding of adversarial threats-based kill chains facing US space assets
• Collect, analyze, and report on data collected during system-of-systems integration events

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required
• BS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of relevant technical experience in the aerospace industry
• 5+ years of experience in space system requirements analysis and allocation
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and tools
• Strong independent problem-solving skills and ability to work with mission architecture systems engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering
• Experience with Mission Engineering
• Experience working with classified programs
• Experience in space system design, development, production, integration, test, or certification
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
