About the Company

Antithesis is reinventing software reliability by running entire software systems inside a deterministic simulation to identify root causes of bugs instantly. They are a well-funded, deeply technical team focused on solving the verification bottleneck in the age of AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Pangolin, a bespoke tree-native streaming analytical database handling terabytes of data daily
• Work with internal customers, such as the notebook/UI team, to define priorities and shape the roadmap
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team on deployment, reliability, and scale
• Write clean, well-reasoned design docs and contribute to long-term technical direction

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Rust
• Deep systems programming fundamentals (memory, concurrency, performance)
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
• Strong backend engineering background with experience in or alongside database systems
• Product-minded approach to translating requirements into concrete priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or maintaining large-scale distributed backend systems
• Deep performance optimization experience
• Knowledge of Linux internals
• Experience with V8, AWS S3, or AWS Lambda
