Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform systems analysis, design, integration, implementation, and maintenance for complex enterprise applications
• Lead and participate in all phases of the system development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Support planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, IV&V, DT&E, and acceptance activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, reports, charts, and graphs
• Support IBM DB2 and IDMS database administration, including installation, maintenance, and upgrade activities
• Analyze and resolve ABENDs and manage incoming file transfers

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with IDMS database
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with COBOL programming
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with JCL
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Agile Methodology
• Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle, COGNOS, or JavaScript
• Knowledge of Broadcom Endevor or REXX scripting
• Experience with z/OS mainframe operating environments (TSO, ISPF, SDSF, JES)
• Experience with MQSeries 6.0, IBM DB2, or PL/SQL
• Background in Assembler programming or ACF2 security management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
