About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, architecture, and design across the total system product lifecycle, including concept, modeling, fabrication, and testing.
- Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
- Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria and plans.
- Execute technical planning, system integration, and validation/verification for total system solutions.
- Perform daily technical tasks within a classified and controlled laboratory environment.
- Travel up to 10% as required for mission support.
Requirements
- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Proven experience with the systems development lifecycle, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance.
- Experience working within an Agile development environment.
- Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as DOORS or CAMEO.
- Experience with programming languages such as Rust or Python.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical data to executive leadership.
