About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product, including concept, fabrication, modeling, and testing.
- Conduct functional analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
- Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria and plans.
- Execute technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation within a classified and controlled lab environment.
- Support system effectiveness and supportability analyses for total system solutions.
Requirements
- STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance (required on day 1).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with Cryptographic Hardware architecture/design and Network Encryption specifications.
- Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as DOORS or CAMEO.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework.
- Experience with Hardware and Software Integration, Validation & Verification, and Qualification Testing.
- Proficiency in software languages such as Rust or Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting technical data to program management and executive leadership.
- Strong background in system-level requirements decomposition and verification planning.
