Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop verifiable system-level requirements and manage requirements traceability and allocation
• Develop and execute test plans, verification procedures, and acceptance test procedures
• Utilize Python scripts and test equipment such as GPS simulators to verify system compliance
• Manage the timely release of CDRLs/SDRLs and contribute to technical design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR)
• Provide technical status updates on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks
• Analyze system functionality through block diagrams and performance analysis of customer specifications

Requirements

• Active and transferable U.S. Government Secret security clearance required on day 1
• U.S. citizenship is required
• STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience)
• Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Proficiency in DOORS NG and experience with Agile development tools (JIRA/Confluence)
• Experience in RF signal processing and using commercial test equipment (Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.)
• Experience working in development, system test, and sell-off environments involving hardware and software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in RF/IR signal processing, navigation (GPS or Inertial), or modeling and simulation
• Understanding of guidance and navigation systems and GPS Receiver system design
• Familiarity with sub-system or systems architecting and system-of-systems definition
• Knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, or MOSA/SOSA/FACE standards
