About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation
- Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and executive leadership
- Play a key role in Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing
- Identify and document test issues to support root cause analysis
- Influence decision-makers with recommended courses of action for complex problems
- Support business capture by identifying technological gaps and opportunities
Requirements
- STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Test engineers
- Practical experience in at least two areas: Systems, Test, Software, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience across the Systems Engineering V with an emphasis on integration and test
- Experience documenting and analyzing failures to identify resolutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. Government (DoD) Secret Clearance
- Experience with voice communication systems and VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP)
- Familiarity with multicast networking (IGMP, PIM)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, UDP) and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark
- Knowledge of military specifications (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461)
- Experience leading discussions with customers and vendors
- Experience writing and reviewing BOEs
