Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and manage complex stakeholder and system-level requirements
• Develop system concepts, architectures, and interface definitions
• Lead trade studies to optimize cost, schedule, and technical performance
• Define system-level verification and validation strategies
• Oversee integration activities across hardware, software, and subsystems
• Plan, execute, and document system-level testing
• Identify, assess, and manage technical risks and mitigation plans
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience)
• Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Top Secret Security Clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Significant experience in requirements development, system architecture, and system integration
• Strong knowledge of verification and validation practices and documentation
• Experience with mission communication systems
• Hands-on experience with system testing and associated documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI eligibility preferred)
• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques
• Certification in relevant industry standards (e.g., INCOSE CSEP)
• Experience with risk management and configuration management processes
