Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support system architecture development, CONOPS development, and system trade studies
• Perform requirements analysis and flow down to hardware and software configuration items
• Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and principles to develop system requirements
• Analyze and document system behaviors to meet emerging needs for combat Identification of Friend or Foe (IFF) solutions
• Lead technical integrity within the engineering team and provide guidance to less experienced engineers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of related systems engineering experience in requirements analysis, development, and performance analysis
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) fundamentals
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
• Ability to work onsite at the Aberdeen Proving Ground facility

Preferred Qualifications

• OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional
• Experience with MBSE tools such as DOORS Next Gen, Cameo Enterprise Architect, or Rational Rhapsody
• Working experience with the development of military equipment
• Active Secret security clearance
• Experience with DSP theory or MATLAB modeling
• Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills
