Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product, including concept, fabrication, modeling, and testing
• Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications
• Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements and develop verification plans
• Execute technical planning, system integration, and verification/validation processes
• Perform daily engineering tasks within a classified and controlled lab environment
• Travel up to 10% as required for mission support

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years of experience with an Advanced Degree
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day 1
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework
• Proficiency with tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, or similar
• Experience with software languages including Rust and Python
• Background in Cryptographic Hardware architecture, design, or Network Encryption specifications
