Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product, including concept, modeling, test, and operation.
• Conduct functional analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
• Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria and plans.
• Execute technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation for total system solutions.
• Perform daily engineering tasks within a classified and controlled laboratory environment.

Requirements

• STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• An active DoD Secret security clearance is required after day one.
• Experience with Cryptographic Hardware architecture/design, network encryption specifications, and test methodologies.
• Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as DOORS or CAMEO.
• Experience with hardware and software integration, validation, and verification testing.
• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical data to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in software languages such as Rust and Python.
