Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex control and communication systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to define system scope, requirements, and specifications.
• Develop Concept of Operations and Technical Specification documents.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency.
• Oversee the implementation and integration of data across multiple systems.
• Create and maintain detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and project status.
• Revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and QA/QC for system troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Prepare final project deliverables and presentations for executive management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering and infrastructure management.
• More than 5 years of experience in Advanced Train Control Systems.
• More than 5 years of experience developing Concept of Operations and Technical Specifications.
• 5 or more years of experience in developing Interface Design Specifications (e.g., FTP, Database Objects, API Requests).
• 5 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
