Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform integrated analysis and evaluation of DoG test events including Flight Tests, Ground Tests, and System Integration Check Out (SICO) activities
• Participate in engineering milestones such as PDR/CDR, TRRs, and technical assessments
• Collaborate with MDA stakeholders to coordinate schedules and resolve technical issues
• Provide input on secure system design, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
• Lead technical interchange meetings (TIMs) and action tracking
• Develop executive-level briefings and technical papers for senior leaders and Flag Officers
• Represent the Government customer in IPTs, working groups, and forums
• Apply engineering tools such as DOORS, Windchill, and Qlik for analysis
• Support system security compliance and cybersecurity integration

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant systems engineering experience for missile defense programs
• Master's Degree in a STEM field
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures
• Experience with MDA system elements such as Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, or C2BMC
• Familiarity with secure development practices and configuration management
• Knowledge of the ETM-2 system and managing Congressional taskers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM in addition to a Master's degree
• Background in secure system development and cybersecurity-informed engineering practices
