Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain functional servers on Linux and Windows operating systems
• Oversee the program’s Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS)
• Maintain system compliance with cybersecurity standards and practices
• Automate tasks through administrative scripting and monitor effectiveness
• Create, oversee, and test security measures including access authentication and disaster recovery
• Perform Tier 3 operational maintenance, including system administration and database management
• Maintain complete technical documentation and training manuals
• Suggest improvements to system performance, capacity, and scalability
• Install systems in CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations as directed

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Poly clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related IT field
• Extensive experience in Windows and Linux administration, including Active Directory
• Proficiency in administrative scripting languages
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Knowledge of Virtual Infrastructure technologies and Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Experience with integration, deployment, and troubleshooting in multi-domain environments
• Ability to travel worldwide
