Senior Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of high-severity, multi-layer incidents involving infrastructure, Kubernetes, data engines, storage, networking, and system integrations
• Provide solution architecture recommendations related to performance tuning, resiliency, configuration design, and integration best practices
• Act as a technical bridge between Customer Support, Product Management, and R&D
• Escalate defects, influence roadmap decisions, and translate customer issues into actionable product improvements
• Identify recurring patterns, systemic risks, and opportunities for optimization

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of related experience
• AI/Data Engineering: Python development, working with datasets, and AI/ML models
• Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, Elasticsearch, MS SQL, and MongoDB
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, observability/log pipelines, and library/runtime environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with Starburst or Trino
