Senior Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of high-severity, multi-layer incidents involving infrastructure, Kubernetes, data engines, storage, and networking
• Provide solution architecture recommendations for performance tuning, resiliency, and configuration design
• Act as a technical bridge between Customer Support, Product Management, and R&D to translate customer issues into product improvements
• Drive initiatives to elevate platform stability and customer experience within complex data ecosystems
• Identify recurring patterns, systemic risks, and opportunities for system optimization

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of related experience in systems or data engineering
• Proficiency in Python development and working with AI/ML models and datasets
• Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, including MS SQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms and Kubernetes
• Experience with observability, log pipelines, and library/runtime environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• Experience with Starburst or Trino
