Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor technical security controls aligned with CMMC Level 2 / NIST SP 800-171
• Operate and maintain Microsoft cloud and identity services including M365, Azure/Azure Gov, Entra ID, and SharePoint
• Own Intune device management including enrollment, configuration profiles, and patching coordination
• Administer and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) using Nerdio for optimization
• Support Zscaler secure access workflows and troubleshooting
• Respond to monitoring alerts and perform root cause analysis for complex issues
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for regulated environments
• Mentor Systems Administrators and provide escalation support

Requirements

• 5+ years of Systems Administration experience
• 2+ years in an MSP or multi-client environment
• Strong administration experience with Microsoft 365 (GCC High / Azure Gov preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Experience with Zscaler or similar Zero Trust platforms
• Proficiency in AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs)
• Proficiency with PowerShell for administration and automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting defense contractors or DoD-regulated environments
• Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools
• ITIL Foundation knowledge
• Certifications such as CMMC RP/CCP, Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or Microsoft certifications
• Active DoD Secret/TS clearance
