Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Microsoft Exchange Email Administrator, responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of Exchange Servers
• Identify, specify, and implement new Microsoft Exchange technologies, including hardware, software, and operating systems
• Monitor Microsoft Exchange systems to facilitate performance and perform necessary diagnostics
• Develop and document configuration standards, policies, and procedures for the Microsoft Exchange ADS environment
• Ensure rigorous application of internal and external information security and assurance policies
• Manage vendor relationships to resolve complex Exchange-related problems and system degradation
• Provide technical assistance and advice to IT users and management regarding system design and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of six years of related systems administration experience
• Active Top Secret/SCI US Government clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Exchange (5.5/2000/2003) and administration
• Experience with Windows Server NT/2000/2003 and Active Directory Services
• Experience with Identity Management Server and disaster recovery planning
• Proven ability to build server hardware from scratch to full operation
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware problems

Preferred Qualifications

• MCP, MCSE, or MCSA certifications
• Knowledge of project management principles
