Senior System Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle-level projects through planning, design, and testing phases
• Manage projects including flight control hardware, data acquisition, and hardware-in-the-loop testing
• Lead ground station development and integration with software and HMI teams
• Guide the schedule and sequencing of large integration projects
• Prioritize aircraft functions for vehicle integration and testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• 8+ years of industry experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and system design
• Experience reading electrical wiring schematics
• Experience testing systems for proper performance
• Experience writing and running code
• Excellent project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing system architecture and weighing design options
• Experience performing vehicle safety assessments, risk assessments, and contingency management
• Ability to design, build, and operate test stands and equipment
• Excellent measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a leader of a high-performing team
