Senior System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder needs into verifiable technical-level requirements for robotic systems
• Develop and document requirements focusing on the electrical engineering domain
• Identify and analyze interfaces and interactions across system and component boundaries
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and controls teams to ensure cohesive system requirements
• Provide coaching on Systems Engineering practices across the product lifecycle
• Use modeling and simulation techniques to inform architectures and solution options
• Track requirement status and assess the impact of changes on project scope and schedule
• Coordinate the integration of electrical subsystems with mechanical and software components
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues
• Maintain detailed documentation including system architectures and traceability matrices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on electrical systems
• Expertise in requirements management and validation methodologies
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and embedded systems
• Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, SPI, or I2C
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in robotics or automation industries
• Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or ASPICE
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or advanced sensor technologies
