Senior System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead for data center solution deployment readiness and proof of concept activities.
• Act as the technical bridge between HybridOS controls, project assets, and data center energy generation assets.
• Establish system engineering standards for BESS architectures, including BESS-UPS and power conditioner solutions.
• Develop standardized technical documents, control narratives, and test plans for contracting and execution.
• Review electrical single-line diagrams, layouts, conduit plans, and communication network diagrams.
• Manage vendor specifications for major equipment such as batteries and PCS.
• Translate project functional requirements into software and control configurations.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of system integration issues during the commissioning phase.
• Drive technical issue resolution in coordination with customers, utilities, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in the power system industry (e.g., substation, power plant, or renewable energy).
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and SCADA/control systems.
• Deep knowledge of three-phase power system principles, including short circuit protection and grid stability.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work with high self-sufficiency and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
