Senior System Engineer - Cloud & Linux

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support various Linux OS flavors (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and virtualization environments.
• Develop and implement server availability (24x7x365) uptime services, security, and performance configurations.
• Provide L2 and L3 support for Linux servers and mission-critical cloud systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Manage configuration and automation using Ansible.
• Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Monitor system frameworks using tools like Zabbix, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Perform fault finding, analysis, and logging for performance exception reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience exclusively focused on AWS and Linux.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing Red Hat Linux server systems.
• Expert proficiency in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Proven experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, redundancy, and scalability in cloud environments.
• Relevant certification in Linux, AWS, Azure, or DevOps.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
