Senior System Electronics Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and manage system interfaces including power distribution, timing distribution, cabling, and connectivity
• Manage EDN rack, vacuum, and cryo layout and connectivity
• Develop and execute system-level integration and validation test plans for hardware, firmware, and software
• Coordinate cross-functionally with System Design, Electronics Design, Packaging, and Software teams
• Ensure compliance with system requirements, safety standards, and design specifications
• Create and maintain documentation such as interface control documents, schematics, and design specifications

Requirements

• BS, M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in system electronics integration
• Experience with clock distribution, power distribution, grounding schemes, FW validation, and SW control
• Experience with software controls in Python
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hardware development of active photonic integrated circuits (PICs), optical transceivers, or RF products
• Experience with high-speed signal integrity or power electronics
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations and mitigation techniques
• Experience with vacuum and cryo systems
