Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment
• Manage Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high complexity involving hardware and operating system integration
• Work collaboratively as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to obtain a final U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification within 6 months of start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, or Rancher
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
• Experience with VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange
• Knowledge of NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, or DoD/RMF
• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment
