Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple stakeholders
• Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance
• Evaluate network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency
• Plan and execute the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment
• Define network policies, procedures, connections, and firewalls
• Maintain performance through systems monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot systems and application problems and escalate to vendors as needed
• Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines
• Oversee and configure Azure DevOps organizational settings
• Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions
• Deploy and manage AWS, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of professional experience in information systems engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure/network environments
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2012 R2 through 2022
• Experience with IIS Administration
• Strong understanding of network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud systems
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Must be currently located in the Tallahassee, FL region (no relocation provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and GCP cloud systems
• Experience supporting middleware such as API Management and IT Service Automation tools
• Knowledge of Linux systems
