Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage LawZero’s various platforms and environments
• Support internal users with compute requirements
• Implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and shell scripts
• Maintain and secure systems, network, and storage equipment
• Investigate hardware and software issues and manage vendor RMAs
• Respond to monitoring alerts and support requests
• Propose and implement platform and process improvements
• Maintain monitoring and alerting systems for reliability
• Develop and enforce security hardening measures and compliance
• Document architecture and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in systems administration or large-scale Linux environments
• Deep knowledge of Linux operation, configuration, and optimization
• Strong networking skills (firewalls, routing, switching, Infiniband, Ethernet)
• Experience managing storage arrays and distributed file systems (Lustre, NFS)
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Slurm or Kubernetes
• Experience administering High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters
• Fluency in French
