Senior Surveyor/Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive field surveys to establish precise control points, layout reference lines, and verify elevation benchmarks
• Lead and coordinate surveying operations on site ensuring compliance with company standards and safety protocols
• Collaborate with project management, engineering teams, and subcontractors to interpret technical plans
• Set up and maintain reliable control networks using total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and digital levels
• Monitor and document as-built conditions and produce detailed reports
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and adapt surveying methodologies to site conditions
• Assist in training and guiding junior survey staff or subcontractors
• Maintain meticulous records of survey activities and data backups
• Participate proactively in safety meetings and prioritize environmental stewardship

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction surveying or related disciplines
• Proficiency with Trimble surveying technology and associated software platforms
• Strong foundational skills in mathematics including algebra and geometry
• Ability to independently organize work priorities in a fast-paced construction setting
• Excellent communication skills for professional liaison with multi-disciplinary teams
• Dedication to upholding high safety standards and quality controls
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently between job sites
• Physical fitness to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather and rugged terrain
