Senior Surveyor/Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate surveying operations on site, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering teams, and subcontractors to interpret technical plans and deliver survey data.
• Set up and maintain reliable control networks, including the calibration of total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and digital levels.
• Monitor and document as-built conditions, producing detailed reports and digital data sets for project documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and adapt surveying methodologies to changing site conditions.
• Assist in training and guiding junior survey staff or subcontractors to uphold accuracy and safety standards.
• Maintain meticulous records of survey activities, including data backups and report generation.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in construction surveying or related disciplines.
• Proficiency with Trimble surveying technology and associated software platforms.
• Strong foundational skills in mathematics, including algebra and geometry for spatial calculations.
• Ability to independently organize work priorities in a fast-paced construction setting.
• Excellent communication skills for professional liaison with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Possession of reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently between job sites.
• Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions and rugged terrain.
