Senior Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Supervise checking and testing of survey equipment and software prior to project
• Coordinate the mobilisation of survey equipment and software on vessels
• Manage day-to-day field operations and ensure contractual requirements for data quality and accuracy
• Ensure all survey equipment is calibrated and documentation is up to date
• Monitor real-time displays, calibration, and data plots/charts
• Provide guidance and supervise the Offshore survey team
• Communicate daily with the Party Chief and liaise with client representatives
• Complete daily and end-of-project reporting
• Implement and maintain survey standards and offshore QHSE
• Ensure all survey deliverables are backed up and submitted in agreed formats

Requirements

• Post Secondary Education in Hydrographic Survey, Geomatics, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience as a Surveyor
• Proven experience in Senior Surveyor duties
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Document Control Systems
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leadership roles within offshore environments
