Senior Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Set up and test online navigation and data logging systems
• Calibrate survey sensors and manage daily operation of on-line systems
• Perform quality control of positioning systems, sensors, and logged data
• Maintain survey quality records and daily logbooks
• Instruct and monitor the performance of junior surveyors
• Ensure data gathering meets contractual and company specifications
• Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments
• Report operational activities and emergency situations to supervisors

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in offshore surveying
• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or equivalent offshore surveying knowledge
• Valid offshore medical and offshore survival certification
• Working knowledge of deep-water positioning systems (USBL, LBL)
• Experience with jumper metrology measurements
• Knowledge of networking and interfacing
