Senior Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide full technical support across the studio, owning issues from triage to completion
• Serve as the primary on-site IT resource for video game production, including dev kit management
• Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding
• Deploy and troubleshoot peripherals, printers, VoIP phones, and mobile devices
• Provide executive-level IT support for C-suite executives
• Administer user accounts, directory services, group policies, and permissions
• Troubleshoot applications in PC, Mac, and Linux environments (Office 365, Adobe, Zoom, Slack)
• Collaborate with the broader IT team on networking issues and studio-wide projects

Requirements

• 4-8 years of IT support experience, preferably in a video game, animation, or VFX studio
• Proven ability to work autonomously as a sole on-site resource
• Experience supporting high-performance workstations and game development hardware
• Working knowledge of networking concepts (VPN, firewall, VLANs, shared storage)
• Experience with directory and MDM systems such as Active Directory or JumpCloud
• Proficiency in troubleshooting PC, Mac, and Linux environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Unreal Engine workflows
• Experience with Perforce, GitHub, and automation
• Experience with deployment and management of AI tools
