Senior Supply Chain Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic roadmap for commodities including machined components, electromechanical systems, and thermal management
• Identify and onboard suppliers to support prototyping and full-rate production
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design for manufacturing (DFM) feedback
• Coordinate with quality teams to ensure compliance with supplier onboarding and documentation requirements
• Direct make-versus-buy decisions based on capital, resource investment, and manufacturing methods
• Create bottoms-up should-costing analyses for commercial negotiations
• Develop performance metrics to manage critical path items
• Execute actions to guarantee schedules for engineering and testing milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
• OR 5+ years of experience in design/manufacturing engineering, supplier development, or supply chain management
• Ability to travel up to 40% to interface with suppliers
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary to support critical milestones
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing for complex systems
• Experience in aerospace & defense, automotive, semiconductor, or energy industries
• Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems
• Proven success in a start-up environment
