About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical component validation processes for high-voltage wire harnesses and wiring systems
  • Oversee supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness using APQP and VDA
  • Execute process and product audits to ensure supplier compliance
  • Facilitate technical requirement understanding between Suppliers and internal teams
  • Lead technical strategies and project teams to resolve complex quality issues
  • Drive supplier improvements in cost, quality, and manufacturability using Lean and Six Sigma
  • Manage proactive and reactive containment at suppliers
  • Ensure proper change management and plan for product architecture requests
  • Manage Supplier PPAs and supply chain activities from development to series production
  • Support NCR resolution

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in Automotive High-Voltage Electrical Systems and High-Voltage Wiring/Harnesses
  • Professional-grade knowledge of AIAG/VDA Core Tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA)
  • Understanding of regulatory and safety requirements (IATF, VDA, ISO, DIN)
  • Proficiency in TEVON, BeOn, PPA, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and TRL Audits
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and electrical measurement skills
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to travel 40-70% domestically and internationally
  • Valid driver's license and passport required

Preferred Qualifications

  • VDA 6.3 Process Auditing Certification
  • Product Auditor certification for Wiring Harnesses
