About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical component validation processes for high-voltage wire harnesses and wiring systems
- Oversee supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness using APQP and VDA
- Execute process and product audits to ensure supplier compliance
- Facilitate technical requirement understanding between Suppliers and internal teams
- Lead technical strategies and project teams to resolve complex quality issues
- Drive supplier improvements in cost, quality, and manufacturability using Lean and Six Sigma
- Manage proactive and reactive containment at suppliers
- Ensure proper change management and plan for product architecture requests
- Manage Supplier PPAs and supply chain activities from development to series production
- Support NCR resolution
Requirements
- Associate's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in Automotive High-Voltage Electrical Systems and High-Voltage Wiring/Harnesses
- Professional-grade knowledge of AIAG/VDA Core Tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA)
- Understanding of regulatory and safety requirements (IATF, VDA, ISO, DIN)
- Proficiency in TEVON, BeOn, PPA, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and TRL Audits
- Exceptional troubleshooting and electrical measurement skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to travel 40-70% domestically and internationally
- Valid driver's license and passport required
Preferred Qualifications
- VDA 6.3 Process Auditing Certification
- Product Auditor certification for Wiring Harnesses
