About the role
Responsibilities
- Investigate supplier-related nonconforming material and lead containment, corrective action, and rework coordination
- Manage the SCAR process to ensure robust root cause and corrective actions are implemented by suppliers
- Analyze supplier defect and manufacturing capability data to identify systemic risks and implement improvements
- Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing to ensure component specification clarity
- Partner with IQC, procurement, and operations to ensure component quality and supply continuity
- Support new product development by assessing supplier readiness and inspection strategies
- Monitor Supplier Quality QMS metrics and conduct regular reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate supplier performance, risks, and escalations to leadership using data-driven formats
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience (Medical Device, Electronic, Mechanical, or Aerospace industries preferred)
- Auditor experience with ISO9001 or ISO13485
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and understanding GD&T
- Experience with metrology, inspection strategy, and Gauge R&R
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability analysis
- Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills
