Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead containment, 8D, and corrective action (CAPA) efforts to root-cause non-conformances
• Review supplier-driven changes, assessing deviation requests, ECRs, and process or sourcing changes for risk
• Build and maintain supplier scorecards covering quality, delivery, and responsiveness
• Qualify and develop suppliers of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components through on-site qualification audits
• Own supplier quality from new product introduction through mass production, driving the full PPAP
• Lead Gage R&R / MSA studies, process capability analysis, and SPC deployment at suppliers
• Apply strong GD&T to drawing reviews and tolerance stack-ups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
• 4–6 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer
• Experience with mechanical components (sheet metal, plastic injection molding, powder-coated metal) and electrical components (wire harnesses, PCBA)
• Strong GD&T knowledge and data analysis proficiency in JMP
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time to domestic and international suppliers
• US citizenship required
