Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create detailed inspection plans and partner with cross-functional teams to improve assembly, testing, and product quality
• Lead customer escalations and work with manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers to define problem statements
• Investigate non-conformances using structured methodologies like 8D and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Identify manufacturing gaps and drive systematic continuous improvement across internal and external sites
• Track, analyze, and report quality metrics to achieve defined targets
• Conduct product and process audits, as well as ISO 9001 audits at contract manufacturing sites
• Measure contract manufacturer performance through monthly quality metrics and quarterly scorecards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Quality Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of quality engineering experience in semiconductor equipment or high-tech manufacturing
• Experience supporting internal, certification, or customer audits
• Proficiency with operational excellence tools: Lean manufacturing, FMEA, SPC, PDCA, 8D, and Six Sigma
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in structured methodologies
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with global stakeholders
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 9001 internal auditor or lead auditor certification
• Leadership experience in managing customer escalations
