Senior Supplier Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier integration for complex or high-risk suppliers to ensure alignment with program requirements and schedules
• Own and execute supplier strategies, including engagement and performance expectations
• Monitor delivery schedules, commitments, and execution status while identifying risks and budget impacts
• Manage the supplier risk register with clear mitigation plans and follow-through
• Lead supplier readiness assessments for design release, production, and delivery
• Drive supplier escalation and recovery execution, including corrective actions and cross-functional coordination
• Identify early supplier-related risks regarding capacity, design maturity, and sub-tier dependencies
• Serve as the primary interface for supplier status, risks, and recovery actions to internal stakeholders
• Ensure delivery of products and required technical/certification data to meet regulatory requirements
• Coordinate supplier execution across multiple programs to balance priorities and risks
• Drive targeted supplier improvement initiatives for schedule reliability and cycle time
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Specialists and Senior Specialists

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in supply chain, supplier management, operations, or program execution
• Experience within aerospace or complex manufacturing environments
• Experience managing complex suppliers, assemblies, or integrated systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead supplier performance, risk management, and recovery efforts
• Experience driving cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Procurement, and Operations
• Experience working directly with supplier leadership and supporting escalation scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft interiors, completions, or highly customized aerospace products
• Familiarity with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Proficiency with data-driven tools such as Excel and Power BI
• Experience with structured problem-solving methods like 8D or root cause analysis
• Experience working in regulated environments (FAA, aerospace quality systems)
• PMP, APICS (CPIM, CSCP), or Lean / Six Sigma certifications
