Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer - Mechanical

About the Company

Mytra is creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market, focusing on the supply chain industry first.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high-performing mechanical supply base to ensure consistent, repeatable quality during rapid scaling.
• Design and execute a supplier qualification and audit framework, assessing manufacturing readiness and quality management systems.
• Conduct on-site audits at domestic and international supplier facilities to validate corrective actions.
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation including FAIs, PPAPs, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
• Lead end-to-end supplier issue resolution through structured root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Deep experience owning supplier quality from initial qualification through production ramp.
• Direct experience working with mechanical suppliers (braking systems, end effectors, suspension, chassis, gears, etc.).
• Proficiency with core quality tools: PFMEA, Control Plans, FAIs, PPAPs, SPC, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Proven track record of leading on-site supplier audits and developing corrective action plans.
• Ability to qualify new suppliers and support them through early builds and volume ramps.
• Understanding of common failure modes in electrical assemblies.
