Senior Supervisor - Utilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise utilities operations personnel and oversee maintenance resources across all shifts.
• Ensure reliable operation of critical systems including steam, power, cooling, compressed air, nitrogen, and HVAC.
• Develop and execute maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and efficiency while tracking KPIs.
• Manage staffing levels, skill development plans, and coordination of external contractors or vendors.
• Maintain strict compliance with regulatory requirements including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and EQB.
• Promote Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices and ensure adherence to cGMP and quality standards.
• Manage departmental budgets, MRO inventory, and support capital projects from scope to delivery.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to prevent impacts on manufacturing operations and provide on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in utilities operations and maintenance.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of steam, compressed air, water systems, HVAC, and power systems.
• Familiarity with CAD, FMEA, Six Sigma, and control systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FDA, EPA, OSHA, and EQB.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as HAZWOPER, RECRA, or DOT.
• Wastewater Operator (Level 4) certification.
