Senior Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction
• Apply CORE, lean, and other continuous improvement techniques to increase quality, throughput, and delivery integrity
• Provide leadership and guidance to a multi-skilled team engaged in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components
• Ensure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner
• Execute business decisions fairly, hold regular toolbox meetings, and maintain clear communication of organizational goals
• Set day-to-day operational objectives, including work scheduling, prioritizing, and coaching
• Support legal obligations regarding United States Government contracting and FAA policies
• Manage 3rd shift operations (Sunday night – Friday morning, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP user experience
• Leadership experience within a specialized technical, operational, or shop environment
• Understanding of Lean and continuous improvement concepts
• Experience with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) principles
