About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate a team of operators and leads in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment to meet production goals.
  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy work environment by enforcing organizational standards and legal regulations.
  • Ensure high-quality output by managing team attendance, optimizing workload allocation, and resolving technical or procedural issues.
  • Communicate proactively with co-supervisors, support groups, and management to align on priorities and metrics.
  • Develop team performance through coaching, counseling, and formal performance evaluations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Manage corrective actions for equipment or processing issues and participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading teams of 15–30 employees.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer fab environments.
