Senior Supervisor, Accounting Services

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily tasks of complex accounting and technical support teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Set team priorities, mentor employees, and coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
• Manage performance appraisals, pay reviews, and training programs for team members.
• Oversee hiring and termination actions within the department.
• Review expenditure, expense, payment, and outstanding reports for precision and proper authorization.
• Resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
• Collaborate with internal management on process improvement initiatives and client communications.
• Support the Senior Manager with day-to-day administrative activities and department initiatives.

Requirements

• Broad technical expertise in accounting services and relevant industry knowledge.
• Proven experience managing performance appraisals and employee training.
• Experience handling personnel actions, including hiring and termination.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical and operational problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact when handling sensitive issues.
• Ability to manage functional, operational, or program management tasks effectively.
