Senior Supervising Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical project engineering execution and act as the senior technical reference for complex construction projects.
• Coordinate workflows across engineering, BIM/VDC, field, prefab, and shop teams to ensure alignment with CPM schedules.
• Create and maintain production schedules using Smartsheet to support critical path planning and model population.
• Audit Revit model health and ensure strict compliance with company standards and quality control protocols.
• Monitor project budgets and maintain visibility into overall project performance.
• Manage engineering issue tracking, including reviewing bulletins, RFIs, and submittals.
• Develop and improve project processes, procedures, and job standards to drive clear execution.
• Provide concise executive-level status updates and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading electrical engineering, BIM, or VDC project execution in construction environments.
• Professional proficiency with Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience with CPM schedules and production scheduling tools like Smartsheet.
• Strong technical coordination skills and experience monitoring project budgets.
• Ability to work fully on-site in New York, NY.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in US-based electrical construction or VDC project delivery.
• Background working for an electrical contractor or in electrical BIM/VDC coordination environments.
• Experience in leadership roles requiring both technical oversight and day-to-day operational alignment.
