About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced design verification support for global projects, including pipeline concept development, FEED, detailed design, and installation.
  • Oversee subsea pipeline design, integrity management assessments, and the implementation of remediation or replacement work.
  • Manage bidding processes by evaluating contractor proposals and assessing technical capabilities.
  • Review and develop technical specifications, providing clarifications to suppliers and contractors.
  • Conduct regular and advanced analyses for shallow and deepwater scenarios involving rigid and flexible pipeline systems.
  • Participate in innovation and technology deployment to improve pipeline systems and industry standards.
  • Support risk evaluations and implement mitigation strategies, including life extension and root cause assessments.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant industry experience in the design, engineering, analysis, manufacture, installation, and operation of subsea pipelines (rigid and flexibles).
  • Proven experience reviewing design basis and interpreting analysis results for installation, maintenance, and operation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pipe capacity, acceptance criteria, buckling, and fatigue behaviors (VIV, wave motion, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of pipeline-related industry codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with subsea pipeline software such as Orcaflex, Offpipe, or DnV.
  • Advanced knowledge of Finite Element Analyses (FEA) using ANSYS or ABAQUS.
