About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Indigenous student recruitment and retention strategies aligned with faculty and Wilin Centre priorities
  • Plan and manage school, community, and arts sector outreach, including travel, visits, and on-campus engagement
  • Support prospective students through enquiries, applications, auditions, and interviews
  • Coordinate transition and success initiatives to foster belonging, wellbeing, and academic confidence for Indigenous students
  • Track, evaluate, and report on recruitment activities, targets, and budgets

Requirements

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity (this position is exempt under the Special Measure Provision)
  • Experience in Indigenous services delivery, recruitment, community programs, education, or the arts
  • Strong, trusted connections with diverse Indigenous communities
  • Proven success in recruitment, outreach, or student engagement
  • Effective communication skills across varied audiences and contexts
  • Ability to obtain a valid Working with Children Check
