Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality civil structures including viaducts, bridges, underpasses, tunnels, and station renovations
• Provide technical expertise and advice to contractors and public clients such as municipalities and provinces
• Actively mentor and transfer knowledge to less experienced colleagues to strengthen the team
• Translate complex technical issues into practical, realizable solutions
• Work across various project phases as a design partner or structural advisor

Requirements

• Completed post-HBO or WO education in Civil Engineering
• 12–15 years of experience as a structural engineer in civil engineering
• Strong expertise in concrete and a solid foundation in steel
• Excellent command of Dutch standards and guidelines
• Ability to guide and support junior structural engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in preparing verification calculations
• Knowledge of soil mechanics
• Knowledge of sheet pile structures
