Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead project work across the design, delivery, and tender phases for multi-year turnkey projects
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of structural engineering work in alignment with technical, commercial, and regulatory standards
• Manage ongoing communication and maintain effective professional relationships with local clients and stakeholders
• Provide sound technical and delivery guidance to the engineering team
• Mentor, train, and develop the careers of junior engineers
• Partner with internal stakeholders within a collaborative, multidisciplinary national team

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in the Property & Buildings industry within a consultancy
• Essential commercial experience in Australia working on medium to large building structures engineering projects
• Proficiency in all-round structural engineering design, including post-tensioned concrete
• Proven track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor junior engineers in both technical and project delivery aspects
• Exposure to various local building sectors such as transport, health, retail, or defence
