Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations, and drawings for steel bridges, pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete bridges, and cast-in-place flat slabs
• Assume a lead role in complex structural design efforts, including assigning and reviewing tasks for technicians and engineers
• Oversee project design from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality control standards
• Serve as the Engineer-of-Record for major, minor, and miscellaneous structural designs
• Provide constructability reviews and perform independent peer reviews on project submittals
• Coordinate with internal design groups and external entities, including clients, subconsultants, and government agencies
• Build and maintain client relationships and assist in identifying new business opportunities
• Participate in proposal activities, including technical write-ups and preliminary reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
• Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills
